Blowing Agents | DME

DME, dimethyl ether, is a colourless gas. It is not considered an ozone-depleting substance. It is used either alone or mixed with R 134a or R 152a as blowing agent. It can be used to manufacture foams, polyurethane and polystirene foams that are principally used as insulation materials for building construction works, to insulate cold rooms in the field of refrigeration and to produce food containers.
