Blowing Agents | R 134a

The blowing agent R 134a is an HFC. It is used either alone or mixed with dimethyl ether or R 152a to produce plastic and extruded material. It is commonly used to manufacture foams, polyurethane and polystyrene foams that are principally used as insulation materials in building construction works, to insulate cold rooms in the field of refrigeration and to produce food containers.
