Privacy Statement

Tazzetti S.p.A. (“Tazzetti”) is aware of the importance of guaranteeing the safety of confidential information obtained when a user visits one of the Group-owned websites. Pursuant to art. 13 of Legisl. Decree 196 of 30 June 2003 (the so-called "Privacy Code"), Tazzetti respects every user's right to Privacy (“Privacy”) and undertakes to protect it.

This informative notice on the Group's Privacy Policies and Procedures is published to provide visitors with exhaustive and accurate information about the personal data collection mode adopted on the website, on mobile applications and/or on other related websites, and the purpose of said process.

Data Collection

To ensure that the user is precisely informed, Tazzetti specifies that, in the course of their normal activities, the current IT systems and software assigned to manage Tazzetti website operations obtain certain data (whose transmission is implicit in the use of Web communication protocols). Said data are not associated with the direct identification of the user. Data collected includes: IP addresses and dominion names of computers used by visitors to the Tazzetti website, the time of the request, the submission mode of the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response and other parameters regarding the user's operating system and IT environment. Data collected is processed for the time strictly required to only obtain anonymous statistics about the use of the website and to check its regular function.

Communication and Dissemination of Personal Data to Third Parties

Personal data collected can be either transferred or communicated to other subsidiary companies or to companies related to Tazzetti for activities that are closely associated with service operations. Personal data provided by the user in his/her request shall only be used to provide the requested service. Personal data provided shall be communicated to third parties only if it is necessary for said purpose, e.g. to providers of enveloping, labelling and forwarding services.

Personal data may, therefore, be communicated to Tazzetti branches and/or to our business partners for dissemination of promotional material. Besides the above, Tazzetti shall not market personal data collected to third parties, unless the express authorisation of the user has been provided.

User Rights - User Account

Every request for personal data shall be accompanied by the request for the user's informed consent to personal data collection when said data is provided. Pursuant to art. 7 of the Privacy Code, the users have the right to obtain, in any case, confirmation of the existence or not of the recorded data and to know the contents and origin, verify its precision or request an integration, update or correction. If the user is a registered user and, therefore, possesses access data to the Tazzetti website (username and password), he/she can come to know about his/her personal data by directly accessing the page in which said data are contained through the menu item regarding his/her profile. Cookies are only used as specified in this section. A cookie is a small file that can be saved on the hard drive of the user's computer to store information.

Cookies store user information and preferences until the user closes a certain dialog box (if the cookie is temporary) or until the cookie is deactivated or deleted. The user is not obliged to accept a cookie from Tazzetti. However, it must be said that cookies only contain information spontaneously provided by the user and that they are not designed to copy personal data from the hard disk of the user and/or to illegally transmit the personal data of the user or of his/her system.

The Tazzetti website might contain links to third party websites. The user must be aware of the fact that even third parties can collect personal data, including the information generated through the use of cookies, when visiting the links that can be accessed from the Tazzetti website.

Tazzetti shall not be liable for personal data collection, use or dissemination modes by third parties. Hence the importance of knowing the regulations adopted by third party websites for personal data protection before providing said data.

Privacy Policy for Minors

The Tazzetti website is also designed for use by minors aged below 18 years. However, Tazzetti websites and applications are not targeted at minors, and information provided by minors shall not be collected to sell products or services.

Safety Procedures

Tazzetti has adopted all the minimum safety measures envisaged by articles 33 and 34, and by Enclosure B of the Privacy Code. All personal data shall be processed for the time that is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

Amendments to the Privacy Statement

All amendments implemented to the privacy policy shall be published on the Tazzetti website
