R 717
Refrigerant Fluids | R 717
Anhydrous ammonia (NH3) was one of the first refrigerant substances to be used in refrigeration plants. Ammonia owns excellent heat transfer properties: very high latent heat evaporation, not relevant ODP and GWP (Global Warming Potencial) equal to 0. Ammonia is particularly recommended as refrigerant fluid in medium-low temperature applications and in large plants with secondary fluid circuit.
