Tazzetti Fluids reclaim all sizes of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, whatever the type and application, throughout Italy. For example:
- Residential air conditioning systems (wall-mounted air conditioners, air or water cooled air conditioners, water cooled terminal units, Room-Top and Roof-Top self-contained air conditioners, heat pumps, etc.)
- Commercial/industrial air conditioning systems (water or air cooled centralised air conditioners with or without heat pump function and absorption centralised air conditioner systems).
- Industrial refrigeration systems for a variety of applications (cold rooms, pre-chilling tunnels, freezing tunnels, temperature control systems in synthetic chemical and petrochemical applications, etc), operating with any type of halogenated refrigerated fluid (CFC, HCFC or HFC) or secondary refrigerant fluid (glycols or alternative refrigerant fluids).
The reclamation process entails the following principal stages:
- Feasibility studies and the planning of the most suitable action for the system to be reclaimed (including the acquisition of data through a variety of channels, such as installation plans, P&I, technical surveys, etc)
- On site installation of equipment for the transfer and recovery of refrigerant fluid from the system
- Isolation of the system being reclaimed, if necessary
- Emptying of liquid phase refrigerant waste from the system
- Vacuum cycle performed on all parts of the system and recovery and condensation of gaseous phase residue
- Vacuum seal testing for all parts of the system
- Issue of “ AC/R system reclamation certificate “
If requested by the client, the following additional services are also available:
- Flushing with air/dry air/inert gas (nitrogen) after the above procedures
- Sampling of residual gaseous phase of refrigerant fluid and evaluation of the type and quantity of residue in the system
- Washing with detergent solutions to remove residue such as oil, high boiling point residue, solid particulate, water, etc. from the system
All Tazzetti Fluids technical personnel involved in the reclamation of air conditioning /refrigeration systems are licensed to handle toxic gases and are fully experienced in the handling and storage of compressed liquefied gases.
